hi, how to make fps_max xx autoexecuted? I included it in autoexec.cfg to no avail
Thanks.
type in on console ''exec (your cfg)'' without quotes and it will work.
i want it autoexecuted and not typing it everytime.
Well then it must get executed, try typing net_graph 1 console and see if the cvar works.
Make sure you put the number in quotations. It should be fps_max "300", not fps_max 300.
Even though fps_max is highly frowned upon and some servers have autokick for it, let's make sure it's in the correct file path.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\"name"\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg
Paste it in that cfg folder, and it should work upon game load. Also, \Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg may either be in common's or your name's folder; whichever has it, use that one.
I already did that Cracker Jack, the one with " " .
Mista Moop, I already done that but to no avail and I believe the cfg file from steam will revert back to the default one after you load the game.
I'll try that later. I created an autoexec.cfg and it works fine (cl_interp command) but the fps_max command did not work.
Depending on the server, it could default to something else.
