This is a good mouse, not top of the line but definitely a steal at this price. I have one, its a pretty small mouse overall and lightweight.
I currently use the g400 (new mx518) which is top of the line along with the Deathadder from Razer.
A gaming mouse will improve your game play for sure, once you get your DPI/sens set and a solid mouse pad (puretrak talent / QCK+) you will preform much more consistently. Please god just don't use a ball mouse or wireless mouse with a pretty kitty kat mousepad!
