rofl the only reason you want the porn industry to get involved is the fact they would be willing to spend millions on the development of this tech, unlike developers who saddle up only on the horse they choose.

Either or, 2014 will be an interesting year for gaming. They are hoping for a Q1/Q2 release for Occulus and Q2 release of the Omni treadmill.

Exactly, the porn industry is one of the biggest in the world. If they pick it up they have the money to invest in it to make it really good.

I am waiting for Dev kit 2 to be released (hopefully Fall/winter this year) and then I am going to purchase a pair myself. They are reluctant to give the devs a window or a confirmation of Dev kit 2, but their latest prototype was showcased on E3 (full 1080p 5inch 440ppi) which is a huge upgrade from the 7inch 720p.

Sent them an email. This will be the only dev kit until the release next year, so I ordered me a pair.
