You will need to edit rev.ini ClanTag=whatyouwant save and open CS:S and go to options>Multiplayer>Advanced and choose the clan tag there.

I originally had to grab a copy of the unpacked dll from the active memory and hex the values yes. No longer is this the case though, due to the recent nosteam updates by bir3yk (nonsteam developer) you can simply edit it simply through the .ini  ;D

Just to let you know, this makes your "steam key" invalid with the new patch.

Pretty much :

- Updated to v37
- Joined a server, all was good
- Copied all the content over to my Counter Strike folder
- "Invalid key length" error on all servers I attempted to join
- Tried to repatch from v0-v36, and again with the v37 patch, neither of them worked, claiming I didn't have the right version.

I am not complaining at all, just letting you know in case this happens to anyone else I have all my stuff backed up, so I am all good Dunno if it's me noobing it out or if its a legitimate glitch, just thought I would say either way

The new patches already carry the update, so that is no longer needed.

Apologies, I completely assumed that they would have the clan tag still on lockdown. Found out that I can edit it through the new rev.ini. Thanks very much for pointing that out to me, I feel like a complete dick Worst birthday ever

um... i use name changer that was included in strongino css...
it works great...
just change it before starting game, make sure to add it to where counter strike is, like GTA trainer.
