Yes, As Jc said, I'd recommend you re-install Windows, But as you know re-installing Windows copies original system code files to hard drive and resets certain settings to default values,so before that, From the Desktop right-click on My Computer, Click the Properties option, In the System Properties window click the Advanced tab or the Advanced system settings link, In Advanced click the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. In the Startup and Recovery window uncheck the Automatically restart check box, then ok.
Alright I might have to do a reboot.


After updating the video card driver, I no longer had any BSOD errors, but my PC still keeps hanging.

Especially after playing GO, or after watching a video.
"sfc /scannow" in an elevated cmd prompt
Also run chkdsk

Those may help eliminate system "hanging."
Updated gpu driver and did the above "fixes" but it still crashes

I need to reinstall everything.

Its getting worst now. BSOD still at times . PC hangs more frequently.
Why don't you post your pc specs as well?

I hate seeing them BSO-Double D's too..

Did you try a complete reformat and reinstall?
misplaced the windows cd.

i'll try to get the "non-steam" version.
get windows 8 :/
