As a citizen of RF, I can tell you that we DID in fact shoot it down. We warned Ukraine not to fly here, and when we saw the plane passing that location, it was assumed to be a Ukrainian cargo plane of some sort, and therefore shot down. It was an honest mistake. Our hearts go out to those innocent people that had absolutely nothing to do with what is going on here.
