i do use 4:3 actually, 1024x768 bb

on my laptop but I use a pink static dot.

I would imagine dark blue would be very easily lost on maps like nuke, especially in vents/toxic/control/heaven. I use a pink static dot which is great for Juan deags

Someone told me to use dark blue a while back. I will try pinky.
