Valve announces Counter strike :Global Offensive 2012

CG-GO info

New weapons/item

* Molotov c0cktail - use to slow down T rushes through the tunnels into B on Dust2 or by Ts to slow CTs on retakes ,an expensive $850 item.
* Decoy Grenade - new item that can be thrown to emit gun sounds and give the illusion of there being a player. The decoy grenade currently produced an AK / Glock when thrown by Ts and M4 / USP when thrown by CTs.

* new pistols
* new Shotgun
* new characters/skins
* new maps - improved graphics/details

Other info

* Defuse kit - CS GO experimenting with automatically equipping a random member of the CT team with a defuse kit at the beginning of each round. Valve wanted to try and make the defuse kit a special item like the T’s bomb
* ak/m4 are weak
* headshot is hard to score
* submachine guns ex. p90 are overpowered for best choice
* recoil patterns way to easy
* He grenade can kill a full health armored player.
* Smoke grenade thick and realistic
* movements of player are smooth
* blood details are smooth and looks real.

infos are not final

Is war lords gonna abandon CSS and go unto CS:GO?

Are there any ideas on it yet?
CSS will probably still be pretty active even when this gets released. Just look at CS 1.6.
I hope there's a cssgo.setti.info version.

*csgo.setti.info

They probably wouldn't make a completely different site just for Global Offensive. They would probably just change the subdomain to cs.setti.info and then include GO and CS:S in it Tongue
I Also Hope That cssgo.setti.info Version Is There Tongue xD
They added a page to Steam for it. No preorders yet :

http://store.steampowered.com/app/1800/
it would be great if war lord host a non steam of it. It looks like the non steam source servers are so much more popular

CSS Forever.
I think that CS:GO and CS:S will live together in harmony. Like, CS:GO seems to be more focused on scrims and competitive play. I don't like the sound of the new updated stuff (molotovs, distraction nades etc), so I will probably stick more with CS:S.
