Also it wont let me hop from server to server.

whats this? all i see is links to some ads

If this is a console error when you go onto a server, I think its failure to load certain webpages on the MOTD.

The MOTD browser doesn't really like JavaScript at all. What do you mean wont let you hop from server to server?

wait you mean that when you type !hop and choose a server to hop to, you wont hop?

yeah the Push F3 to connect thing doesnt come up for me either.

Although both of these are probably server side issues, check your config.cfg (located in the same place as autoexec.cfg) for a bind that say


If it's not there, put it in (that's what she said). Also try typing !servers instead.

I will just post the problem I am having. I connect to wL server and everything starts lagging then hl2.exe crashes. It doesn't happen all te time but happens at least 10 times each day I go on.

2 Things :

- Go onto Steam, right click CS:S, click Properites, go to the Local Files tab and click "Verify Intengrity Of Game Cache". Not a fucking clue what this does, but I used to do it when I was getting CS:S errors and it sorted it out for me.

- Stay on topic. This is a thread about a server connection problem (plus a little Javascript error). Make your own damn thread
