Deputies: Man crawled into girl's bedroom before dawn.

A 20-year-old man was arrested after deputies say he climbed into a girl's bedroom window in the pre-dawn hours of April 19 and asked her to perform sex acts.

The 12-year-old girl refused and Roger Allan Bench left, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report states. Deputies say he later told them he was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana at the time.

Authorities said Bench knew the girl.

Bench, of 8540 Congress St., was arrested Tuesday on a charge of lewd or lascivious conduct.

He remained Wednesday in the Land O'Lakes jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
