if u dont want ur mouse wheel glitching or failing, then make sure to get a mouse with an optical scroll wheel sensor rather than a mechanical scroll wheel sensor. plus, they register more RPMs

I used to use deathadder but went through 3 of em within 2 years during college... mouse 1 button keeps screwing up.

Was using this before my new laptop:

This is what I use now since the ball had too much shit on it and needed a usb mouse:

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-X7636-Button-...ball+mouse

Logitech felt better though honestly...

Oh damn! Old school style Smile

Double post

Worse about old school ball mouses are the cleaning and maintenance of the ball rolling area inside... they gather dust, and fat like no other...

Btw guys I'm using Windows 8 so I heard some mouses aren't compatible, only one I know is compatible is the deathadder 2013.
Windows 8 compatibility for Non-Synapse 2.0 enabled devices:
Available Now:
Razer Orochi, Razer Nostromo, Razer Anansi, Razer Starcraft II peripherals, Razer Lachesis 5600dpi, Razer Imperator 2012, Razer Mamba 2012
February 2013:
Razer Arctosa, Razer Lycosa, Razer Abyssus, Razer Tron peripherals
i'd go for the deathadder 2013 if i were you then, lotsa pros are using it and it's an improvement on the past models with rubber grips and shit.
