Official Draft Tournament Thread/Registration - Ben- - Mar 10 2017
ALL matches take place Saturday, April 8th - Sunday, April 9th 2017, 1 AM - 11 PM PST. Participants are expected to play every team during this time (Round Robin style, up to 8 teams/matches). Make sure you're available on these two days and times before registering.
This is a draft tournament. The highest RWS participants will be team captains. Team captains will choose a player every round of picking (like any sport draft) until teams are full. The first round of picking will be random while subsequent picking rounds will be in reverse of the previous one (1-8, 8-1, 1-8, etc). The chosen teams will remain the same for the duration of the tournament.
If too many players sign up, then the tournament will be split into groups made up of 4-8 teams. The best 2 teams in each group (or more if ties) will go to an upper stage where they will face off against the other teams which qualified. The best 2 teams in the upper stage will face off in a Finale.
There will be a minimum of 4 teams (20 players) and a maximum of 8 teams (40 players) in each group.
