I would suggest that you spend just a little bit more to get a higher rated power supply just in case you want to take advantage of the SLI on that mother board.

Nah I won't be using SLI or Crossfire.
I feel that a single 2GB card would be fine.

As long as you don't crossfire you can get away with it.
