Maybe it will clear up.

In the mean time why don't you send them a quick email on this link http://qwest.centurylink.com/internethe ... email.html

Tell them that you are having ping problems, here's a traceroute I've done showing that there seems to be a problem and what your normal ping should be.

I just played for a bit, was fine for about 15 mins, then jumped back up to that 100-120 range.  Ill email qwest and ask,  but like I said, joining another server or doing a tracert route to any other IP, the pings are fine through my ISP and through the server.  Honestly, I think it is something on your guys' end.

RE: Latency on Servers - i cri everytiem - May 13 2012

My ping and others (who was in the server while I was on) had high pings.

RE: Latency on Servers - Matt - May 14 2012

Tracerts tracerts tracerts. Saying you have high ping doesn't help anything. Kikko by the looks of it the high ping starts when the qwest network hits LA. Are these other servers in LA? Can you do some more tracerts please?

RE: Latency on Servers - Kikko - May 14 2012

Sure, what IP do you want me to do?  I also noticed that as more people are alive in the server, my ping seems to climb unusually higher.  As people die, the ping starts to come down a bit.

5/14/12 at 1:49AM PST I did another tracert to the server.  This ran  a lot better tonight until it was full.

Makes sense, as more people die there's less data being sent to you. Tracerts when the problem is actually happening are better, but that one is good to reference it too. Really looks like a congestion problem at Qwest.
