but really, the rules on sprays are outlined the motd. just because other people are doing it, doesn't mean it's right or allowed.

Message of the Day in wL has been broken for a while. I came to the site prior to using this spray to look for the rules and I have yet to find any. I asked around to some friends about rules and they said there are none really and that it's mostly at the admins discretion.

I never saw that at all and I read chat pretty intently. Admin text is often hard to see with the amount of spam text the server generates. It's green lost in green.

We really don't want to see gay hentai sprays on our servers. The fact that another player tried to spray over your spray is testament to that.

Most gay sprays are used in a trollish manner. They're basically used as shock sprays.

So I find what you're saying as hypocritical. You're angry about gay bashing yet you're needlessly and intentionally provoking people.

That leaves me with the impression you're trying to troll us with a false sense of outrage.

If that's what is going on here then expect your visit to be cut short.

  • Linking to cheat, shock or inappropriate websites.
If you're unsure about anything ask an admin.

I've been playing in Popular Maps for a year. I like a lot of the people here and people know me. Any of them can attest that while I'm very freely open about my orientation and gender expression, I'm not doing it to troll. I've been sick this week and that has made me exceptionally emotional (I'm already moody enough as it is). I was hurt by Linear saying "nobody wants to see your gay hentai" and I lost my cool. I apologize.

Anyway, as for aftermath, Vegetables convinced me to come back into the server today after a week of not playing. It didn't take more than 10 minutes before my spray was suspended again for unknown reasons. I saw no warning messages. My spray was non-pornographic.

Spray privileges are permanently suspended when revoked. Only root admins hold the ability to repeal a spray suspension.

There was no further action following the initial suspension.

I'm tempted to call you a liar but I'm going to stop short of that. You certainly knew about the sprays controversial nature before choosing and spraying it. You chose to spray it anyway, so I think that says a lot.

If by controversial you mean "hard-core porn", I did not think it was going to be an issue. Again, I looked on the site for the rules and found none. The MOTD says nothing about the server. As the rules on this were unclear and I had seen no action against people spraying various forms of hard-core porn on the server (a daily occurrence), I didn't think it would be an issue.

If you want to think I'm a liar, well, I can't stop you, but I think my record speaks for me better than that. I've been playing here for a year. At one point (recently) I was ranked 25 on the server. I am well known by many people that play in the server. I have reported hackers and people who have harassed others in the server regularly.

I guess it doesn't really matter. You don't seem to want me around and neither do some other people. I guess I'll just leave you guys in peace. Sorry for the trouble I caused.

I'm currently unsure as for lifting the spray suspension. I'm skeptical anyone would be so foolish, as to not see potential issues or problems arising from use of that spray. A review of your chat logs leads me to believe you're either trolling or pushing an agenda. In either case, your previous spray has presented you as somewhat foolish and thoughtless.

I have no problem with you. The only issue I had with you is over your previous spray. That issue is no longer valid since you cannot spray and no longer desire to spray said image, so I therefore have no further quarrel with you.

Edit: I've ultimately decided to lift the spray suspension.
