Hi again,, I used to have Non steam setti version,, I installed patch v63, and i was able to connect and play, after a while I decided I didnt wanted any more issues, so I bought css steam version.
Now when I try to join ur servers it says: server u are trying to connect is running on an older version of the game. This happens on all servers.
Also I tried to install patch v63( posted by ruplayer) to my steam version.But it will not launch the game correctly, I did it correctly ( is not that difficult ). So I returned to the original files having no further option.
Can someone please help me ? Is there a patch for steam version ? or what can I do ? Please answer

That patch is for nonsteam, non steam.
Anyway, you just described your problem. The server is running a lower version. So just wait

where are all the folders looking for a CSS document called rev.ini
and edit what the (playername = css.setti.info) and delete it from and put your nick css.setti

hi bison, i have problem playing css deathmatch.my playername is Mad Potato recently i was banned to join with quote: please change your name(i go to rev.ini and change several times but no success,i had read your answer to other member how to do so,but still unable. the line of playername in my rev.ini is as the following
PlayerName = Mad Potato (no any symbol before and after, my css copy is setti orange box nostream)
would you suggest me how to correct,much appreciated,thx

That's incorrect, you do in fact have a space in your name according to my logs.
" Mad Potato" is invalid

hi bison i had changed the line PlayerName = Mad Potato to PlayerName =Mad Potato
it's still invalid,how ?
