I tried to traceroute the server, I tried to trace-route the forum, which I got it.. but when I put the server IP in, it says

Most likely from a DoS. It's pretty sad really, sometimes they only do it for a couple of minutes just so they can get in the server.

I can only speak for the sniper server on this subject. This server has the most issues I have experienced in my not so short time playing this game. I know Bison keeps tellin me its just me. First time ok w.e but when I play any other server I'm fine. Can't be just myself or just someone else. It has to be the server. I have eliminated every other common denominator.

Unlikely, as the lag spikes happen when the server is not full too.

Depends on the server, a DoS will take out all the servers on the box.
