Also, I've only heard good things about the Sennheiser PC350 and HD555. Music quality is so-so, but a solid sound card will cure that. Only beef for me is no 3.5mm jack. Save some cash. RE: Headset [HELP] - Yuuki <3 - Aug 05 2012 what i want to say is, when you have a decent ~ good audio card, use aux-wired headset. when you don't have a sound card at all, i suggest you to use usb powered, wired/wireless headsets, like logitech's G series or Corsair Vengeance series. i have a Soundcard, Asus Sonar DX 5.1, which means i get almost the best quality on the market, with just 50 bucks. therefore i bought Razor's Carcharias. the head is 8/10 from my PoV, sounds great, but everyone around me can hear it when i blast music, thus, the mic is very hard to adjust. but, big earcoverage, nice sound quality, comfortable to wear. i wear them for more than 6 hours and still feel comfortable. protip: Any sound card mostly will fix any sound problems you have. it is very good to have a sound card, on desktop (i dont buy laptop) your music/game/movie experience will be increased by more than 5 times. buy Asus' sonar series, they are awesome and comes with stereo adjustments. i want to buy a new headset, too. can anyone suggest me one? my conditions of headsets are: -price range of >150 -product must include its own audio settings -big earcups -good mic adjustments -good mic -noise canceling on both mic and headsets -AWESOME BASS -good look someone help~~ l0oked around and cant find a decent one. link too~ pce~ |
