I don't get the fuss about rank anyway, it's so trivial, and far more an indication of playtime than skill.

Never.
You can keep a monthly reset, or something like that.
But when I want to see my global status, I want to see my gameMe for my lifetime stats in the server. Not only does it demonstrate where I've come, it also shows that I have dedicated a long time to the server.

IIRC, you can have 2 point systems on GameMe. A monthly top 10, and a global top 10?

To be honest when I saw this thread all I could think to myself was "crap there goes my 30k kills" but if you guys were to reset JUST POINTS and keep the Kills and Deaths, I support this 100%!

Start of August and then the start of February. 6 months seems to be the poll winner, also my preferred choice.

Ok the reset jobs have been scheduled for the 1st of August (2012/08/01) and every 6 months after that.
