Religion means different things to everyone. To me it means to follow a belief without understanding or logical proof. So some people have no understanding about scientific studies but still put their faith in it.

In Biology Bruce Lipton is being denied proper consideration because he has theories that would rewrite every biology book and therefore you can interpret this as a blasphemous tone being given by the scientific community.
