yea alright. there has been a speed issue around my area from my internet service provider for the past few month. I got a tech come over a few ago and he told me they are aware of the issue and it might take another two month to fix...

alright cool. the guy said that my neighborhood got too many users and caused the speed issue. they are trying to split the connection in the pole into two. He also said they have to wait for edison's approval before doing anything on the pole. that was my understanding of it.
