wc3 server - vietnameeh - Apr 07 2011 should we start enforcing little things in the mod server... its getting unfun alot of players and good players are taking advantage of skills like wards form shadow hunters and putting wards up all over hostie rooms or on or around the planted bomb.... wards are the red or blue waves of light that do lots of damage if you walk through them or humans that are so invisible and teleport in spots where you can't see them even if they were not invisible but they can see you... for example the stairway hall thing from T spawn down to the market(cs_italy)... humans will teleport up the skyview.. where they can see you but you can't see them until they pop out from top and kill you i know i know im venting, but still it would make the game "fair" even though wc3 can be cheap at times but i think things like wards in hostie areas should be avoided (entrances, on the hosties) .. but can be used in other places RE: wc3 server - xFerior - Apr 07 2011 hmmmm Don't they disappear when the Shadow guy dies? Maybe if the C4 time was extended to allow CTs to kill all Ts, it would make it more fair? Maybe it possible to make it so wards cannot be planted anywhere near hostages or something RE: wc3 server - naive - Apr 07 2011 you can get through those pretty easily to save hostages.. human can teleport, naix can pull itself in, succubus hunter can assault tackle through it with almost no damage, you can buy a protection amulet.. many ways RE: wc3 server - xFerior - Apr 07 2011 Its still pretty cheap though, wouldn't you agree? RE: wc3 server - Matt - Apr 07 2011 Map exploiting isn't allowed. Generally if the map starts to break in the view (seeing through buildings and props) they should be warned, slayed and then kicked.
