Final Fantasy 7 Was released today on Steam. (a year after the initial remake).
This version of FF7 includes everything the new HD remake has.

a few years ago I went on a total nostalgia binge and got FF VII, VIII and IX on my ps3 when they went up on the PSN. Wasted like half of my summer playing the hell out of em. Then FF XIII came out and it sucked. FF XV is gonna be awesome though, KH gameplay + world map + flying ship =

The graphics is a little outdated yes, but none the less amazing game play and story if you like open world RPGs with a lot of content everywhere.

FFVII is definitely worth 11 usd, i spent 70-100 hrs on both of my playthroughs. However, it is quite a steep price for such an old game, but I'm not sure what the new "online features" are or how good the HD remake is.

I bought it. The HD remake ensures it works on the latest computers with full support. They also up:ed the graphic potential as much as possible in the old engine so it looks fresher than what it did when it came out. The Music is digital remade as well, and from what a friend of mine told me the story has been polished, and apparently added some stuff to cover for the hole it couldn't explain.

It was one of the few games (like Goldeneye 007) that got me tied into the world of gaming
