was gonna order new parts to upgrade my PC but I talked with my rents about it since they were gonna pay for half of the expenses but they convinced me to get a new laptop. Its way better than my current PC anyway.
700$ for
8gb ddr3 ram
2.5 ghz i5 quad core with turbo boost to 3.1ghz
nvidia gtx 660m with 2gb of GDDR5 dedicated vram
should be dope

Screen res is shit, no touch screen, 660 is previous gen, screen size is small for gaming. All in all, it is obvious from laptop's specs that you cheaped out.

my budget was 600-700$. There is one laptop that has better gfx card and bigger screen that I could have bought for 750$ but I need those 50$ to buy my books for this semester. I also have my BenQ monitor so the screen doesn't really matter lol. Smaller screen res = better performance anyway
