Minigame server - respawn problem - mar_heave - Nov 08 2011

I dont know if the new v38 update has fixed this bug, but last time I played minigames ,
players aren't able to respawn by GOING to spec then GOING to the active team again.
Like in mg_office_coursee , the first several seconds the spawn hasnt blocked, usually CTs can respawn again
by joining spec then CT again. But what I got is nothing happened. The same with mg_metro_course_v3 , cannot respawn to T again,

Give me a list of all the maps which should have auto-respawn. I'll write a plugin to integrate that feature.

mg_metro_course_v3 (i think v3)
mg_office_coursee
mg_escape_prison_beta
mg_bobiii
mg_saw_puzzle_final
mg_saw_telebox (maybe)

so i havent tested all maps, only several I had played, but I think all respawn is bugged on all maps.
These maps need respawn. thx in advance

Auto-respawn isnt only half the problem. On maps like mg_escape_prison_beta, mg_saw_telebox, and mg_office_course when we die there was a short period
where we could respawn if we die.

This is important because in mg_office_course the very beginning when you choose the left or right box you can guess and if you fail and die you can just respawn. Now it takes longer because no one wants to risk going.
And on mg_saw_telebox theres a few places where you can die and we used to be able to go spectate then back to ct and play again now we have to wait for next round which takes time since map has built in auto-respawn at beginning

that's right... usually I always choose for the left or right block in office and respawn, then I usually block the first door once then respawn again...

Sorry for the delay.

I've been a bit busy the past week. I had planned on patching this yesterday, but I ended up finding a bug in SMAC which needed to be fixed first.

I'll begin adding auto-respawn to these servers now.

These maps should auto-respawn 5 seconds after death:

mg_ghosts_cave_v1
mg_bobiii
mg_saw_telebox
mg_office_coursee
mg_metro_course_v3 (traps trigger only once.  Sad )
mg_escape_prison_beta

I didn't want to add auto-respawn to mg_saw_puzzle_final since it might end up breaking the map.

Any other maps which require auto-respawn?

Nice job David. We will be reporting you as soon as we see other bugs.
But some people hate when metro,prison,office cannot close spawn,
but for the new office course2011 we dont need any respawn plugin.
