Latency on Servers - Kikko - May 13 2012 Ive spent quite a bit of time playing CS:S on the wL servers and haven't had a problem with my latency. I usually average around 30-40 ping on a server, especially the wL ones. However, these past couple days, my average has gone up to about 100-120 on the wL servers, and every other server has remained in the 30-40 ping reason. What could be the cause of this issue? I dont believe it is on my end at all, because as I stated, every other server is fine besides the wL ones. RE: Latency on Servers - Spartacus - May 13 2012 You need to do a trace route to the server and post it here. I'd share the link with you but I'm using my phone. Google tracert and the roots will be able to identify the issue. RE: Latency on Servers - Spartacus - May 13 2012 Re: Latency on CS:S servers Double post.just keep the discussion at the other thread. RE: Latency on Servers - Kikko - May 13 2012 Re: Latency on CS:S servers Sorry, didnt know exactly which thread to put this in. Your ping jumped to 100ms before leaving the qwest network. :o RE: Latency on Servers - }{@K@P - May 13 2012 how can I check mine, please give instructions RE: Latency on Servers - Matt - May 13 2012 To the OP contact your ISP and let them know theres a problem in their network.
