plugin which disables some offensive words in css chat - Spartacus - May 15 2012 In the previous servers that I've played in, some words such as n-word, fag and their variations are disabled from css chat. The entire sentence that had that word didn't appear at all. It is true that players might try to go around it by using other characters, but it'd surely make it more troublesome. RE: plugin which disables some offensive words in css chat - lin3ar - May 15 2012 I rather have no censoring so we can actually see what they are typing, as sometimes censors can confuse the reading admin as to what the person was actually saying. RE: plugin which disables some offensive words in css chat - Moriarty - May 15 2012 I have seen those before, people still able to type what they want, they just use spaces or symbols to avoid blocking. RE: plugin which disables some offensive words in css chat - Spartacus - May 15 2012 Just limit it to those extreme words. Like fag or nig, i just noticed some bans were related to offensive chatter. It worked for the previous server. I'd agree on how censorship can be irritating though. The last time i played on True Grit, the admin warned me for cursing lSHIT" when i died. Wut? |
