new pc desktop help!!! - }{@K@P - Jun 27 2012 Hey guys, I'm looking for a new gaming desktop, please recommend me one! Currently I have http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Desktop+-+4GB+Memory+-+500GB+Hard+Drive/4673045.p?id=1218505323144&skuId=4673045 with ATI Radeon HD 3650 Thanks in advance! RE: new pc desktop help!!! - Izzie - Jun 28 2012 What games do you plan to play? Also, do you already have a monitor? How much is your budget? Lastly, are you interested in assembling the parts yourself, or have friends who can do that for you? Well, I think his budget is around $400-500 guessing from the price of that computer. With that amount of money you could build a fairly decent computer, but you may need to drop some more bones if you want something really nice that can get good FPS in most up-to-date games. RE: new pc desktop help!!! - Izzie - Jun 28 2012 It probably cost a lot more back when he got it. If you want something already assembled, you might be interested in this or this. But like MindGames said, you'll get much better value if you build it yourself. RE: new pc desktop help!!! - JayCat - Jun 29 2012 Thread has been moved to correct section. RE: new pc desktop help!!! - Platform - Jun 29 2012 Wtf? Just build that one you have, put a new GFX card and another ram stick.... instead of waisting $500 on a whole new computer. RE: new pc desktop help!!! - FenKeN - Jun 29 2012 wtf? I'll help you out, lemme go to newegg for awhile EDIT: I found it, a computer that can play up-to-date games at playable FPS. Like what I posted on the other thread, FenKeN, post: 65109, member: 1546 Wrote:You don't need a graphic card since the processor is an APU. To add on, 650W PSU for that is enough but you can get a better one later if you are planning to get a graphic card. Also since you are just playing at home, you don't need any fancy computer casing. RE: new pc desktop help!!! - }{@K@P - Jun 30 2012 I want to go for $1000 pc, I don't care about monitors that much, I like square flat monitors, not rectangle ones. I'm looking to play Assassin's Creed games, just recent action like COD * and guys, what computers do you have? RE: new pc desktop help!!! - Izzie - Jul 01 2012 So to confirm, you're looking for a full desktop, right? Are you buying a new monitor or using an old one? RE: new pc desktop help!!! - }{@K@P - Jul 01 2012 Yes, I'm looking just for desktop tower or PC parts so I can build it myself (hopefully), I will keep my monitor, etc. |
