Votebanning / maps - walrus - Aug 10 2012 Popular Maps 1/2 It seems like it takes too many votebans to get somebody temporarily banned. I'm not sure exactly where its at right now but it seems like more than 80% of the server has to voteban somebody to get it done. For ex. if somebody is mic spamming or blatantly cheating only 50% of the server is directly affected and is actually motivated to voteban them so they usually never get banned because the other team doesn't care. If 60% of a server is votebanning somebody it should ban them for a day, if they get votebanned again it should ban them for a week etc.. Also trade cs_assault and cs_compound (2 rarely voted maps) for de_cpl_fire and de_cache (2 good pub maps). Or just add the 2 if there is enough demand for assault and compound. RE: Votebanning / maps - NoBoss - Aug 10 2012 Well thats why theres a votemute for mic spammers which takes less. RE: Votebanning / maps - walrus - Aug 10 2012 I have never seen votemute actually mute anybody, everybody just types voteban. Thanks tho. RE: Votebanning / maps - NoBoss - Aug 10 2012 happens all the time in minigames xD RE: Votebanning / maps - i cri everytiem - Aug 10 2012 I remember another thread about this subject, anyways.. I do agree, it should take less votes to ban someone |
