SMAC: Eye Test Violation - Shokkk - Jan 16 2013

I want to know what is this and why this ban occurs. I saw many people gets banned for eye angle violation and this eye test violation, but i dont know why actually this occurs.
Yesterday my friend 'awesomist' got a permanent got a ban from wL for this. We play in Indian servers and scrim together there. May be he cheats as gets around 4-5 kdr everytime.
I am not appealing for this ban but I want to know what is this eye test violation and when it happens.

A player can have view angles to a certain point. If it goes beyond that, then he's likely cheating. Probably using a hack. Shame on him!

Quote:This lightweight module checks if a player's eye angles (field of view) has been altered past the point of a normal player. The type of cheats that do this are usually Anti-Recoil, No-Spread, and some Aimbots. When spectating these players they usually have a "shaky screen" when firing.
