Might be the peering at Equinix overloaded. Softlayer directly peer with TM http://bgp.he.net/AS4788#_peers.

You can give this traceroute to your ISP, but I will need one done by you before I can raise this as an issue with Softlayer. By the looks of it you have some sort of firewall blocking it on your computer or router.

I have a higher ping again in asia server than the us server. Haven't done a tracert again but will do once I get a chance.

I doubt its a computer issue cuz I get a high ping to War-Lords servers eventhough my firewalls turned off.

I'm not saying it's a firewall causing the high ping, if it was he wouldn't be able to play at all. I'm saying the firewall is blocking the traceroute (Pinging).

Same as me . Service provider's fault .

Dear Matt,

I didnt use any antivirus/3rd party firewall software except default from windows XP. Everything has been turned off. The problem happen since early morning Sunday (+8) and only affect all War-Lords Asia server.

Would be great knowledge if you can teach me how to check if my firewall blocking the traceroute.

Something is definitely blocking it on your side since hop 1 times outs. This may be your router or a firewall on your computer and is something you will have to determine.

Like I said before, if you want servers in India you are more than welcome to pay us the increased cost.
