not really clear. in asia they have counter-strike source live which is an update on the zombie mods genre. Anyone have more info on this?

Gabe did say he will worry about it after the release of DOTA 2 what ever that means.

It says they are inviting the top Counter-Strike players, but i haven't been invited. Therefore, this is not true.

Valve is developing DoTA2. While its not an outright denial of CS3 being developed, its not looking like it will be coming in the near future, especially with the development of recent shooters like BF3.

New Half Life installment > new Counter Strike installment. Although it would be awesome if they released a 2nd edition of the Black Box, with new Half Life and new CS:S inside.
