This is part of my series of "how to reduce admin abuse threads".

The plugin will assess various factors such as proximity to enemy, time left, people left alive, etc.

You will not be allowed to use the command if you've been inflicted with damage within a certain time frame. You will not be able to use the command if you're within a certain proximity of the enemy. It will refund you money based on all of these factors (including whether you've picked up the weapons rather than bought) and money refunded will range from partial to full refunds. It will inform you how much of a refund you'll receive if you do it.

Advantages:
Don't have to wait for ppl to weapon save.
Quicker rounds.

Disadvantages:
People will think it's unfair or something.
People won't have the pleasure of lengthy rounds.

Seems like a pandora's box of potential issues.  It won't actually deter weapon save just given them an option to be courteuos of other players.

haha I like it. I think they should always be able to use the command, just drop the refund % down to like 1% if they do it in like 10 secs of being shot by an enemy. The complaints on the crappy refund would be hilarious to see!... but I like to see people complain.

I feel like all of these plugins would impact the server negatively.

In this case, I feel like it would eliminate any possibility of upsets, as sometimes players get extremely lucky and make it their moment...

Edit: My belief is that the server should be kept as pure or "vanilla" as possible. Players are still playing war-lords, and it's a very small and regular group complaining about admin abusing. War-lords has on record over 90,000 players and there have been 4 complaints? I wouldn't consider this a problem. It's still a popular server and one that doesn't need to be changed.

I'm just going to keep throwing out ideas whether they be insanely idiotic or brilliant. Eventually something will get a majority vote.  :

well heck, there are enough war-lords servers to test some ideas out. consider a modified popular maps server?

If they've obvious got no chance of winning. Weapons free, admins can slay them for no refund.
