Hi, I had ASUS g73jh laptop this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834220821 and it's been dropped so my motherboard is gone=( new motherboard for this model is about $900... I am going to buy another asus laptop next Friday and I have a few questions:

1)Which laptop is better? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834230111 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834230021
2)Which videocard is better nvidia 460m or ati 5870m?
3)Which processor is better Intel Core i7 2630QM(2.00GHz) or Intel Core i7 740QM(1.73GHz) (notice that turbo boost for 740qm is higher)
4)Can you recommend any other laptop?(should be able to run BF3 on decent settings with good fps)

I am not gonna pay for apple products, my budget is $1000(not even $1 more), and please don't say anything about desktop computers beat laptops ass because there is a reason why I buy gaming laptop and not a desktop PC.

Because I don't like big desktop pc's and my life is kind of mobile here, desktop pc is not gonna work for me, plus like Dandy said when it's fire season we're on the payroll 24/7 and this is a good thing to have.

try hp dv6 2005 AX  , buy the one with the amd phenom processor not the turion. tats shld be cheaper than 1000$ i guess , cus upon convertion to my currency its only like 750$

No I don't think it's even close to the one that I'm looking for lol I need to run bf 3 on it.

If im going to decide between the two..il go of course with sandy bridge procie, the 919.99..it has better specs.

thu 5870 likely beat gtx 460, gtx 460 can handle latest games well and bf3 for sure..
