Noticed many players "reconnect" after getting a bad kdr in pubs, to reset scores. Even though it doesn't matter, I thought it would be easier to implement the resetscore function without having them to reconnect.

Anyway, hope this doesn't turn up to be a thread to diss people who does that. There's flamez for that.

I'm just proposing we have this option to make it easier for those who uses it.
typing retry in console isn't that hard is it ?

not if you're in asia, takes a longer time to reconnect. furthermore the player won't have to leave his team.
yeah but that's the cost of resetting your score, that way not everyone does it constantly ?
People fail to realize bonus money is derived from kpd. If you reset your score you stop receiving it.

Can you explain more to what that means? So more kills means more bonus money? Also bonus money occurs when your team is losing? Or also winning.

I reset my score just cuz its a psychological thing. I know it doesn't matter but a 0:0 just seems like a fresh start. Bad habit, got used to it, can't get out of it Tongue
If your kpd is less than 1 you'll get bonus money. You can determine how much by checking console. The losing team may receive bonus money even for slightly higher than 1 kpds.
So that is how people afford awps 2 rounds in a row...
Why should (wL) have it:
  • Players will not need to leave their team to reset their score.
  • Players will not need to reconnect to reset their score.
  • Players will not lose their slot if the server is full.
  • Many people likes it.
Just a proposal. I prefer bonus money over having a bad kpd. But some, if not most players value having a nice score over $$.
