RE: Evaluate new computer build - ruplayer - Dec 31 2011 If you have a girlfriend you can get two tickets to Universal for regular 144 bucks, and get general admissions pass for the whole 2012 year! +6 bucks for coke... Or you can buy 15 AMC tickets for two at Costco... Or two tickets for Cafe Sierra Restaurant... Or... you can get 15% more performance for some videogame... RE: Evaluate new computer build - naive - Jan 01 2012 Congrats on the new machine! Normally I just buy the highest end hardware I can find before the new model premium pricing flies up off the chart. A $600 dollar processor is only going to be worth like 200$ in a couple of months, I'd rather buy the $200 processor now and wait a couple months then buy another 200$ processor in 2 months and still be ahead $200. Find that gap where there is the excessive spike in pricing over existing models and buy right below it. RE: Evaluate new computer build - joker8baller - Jan 01 2012 Ty!~ Parts come in on Wednesday, so I should be finished by the weekend... hopefully. As long as I'm not working ungodly hours next week. |
