oh that, try installing it to a drive, then on steam choose that same location as the download directory for cs ... it might work

Is it cracked or not? Physical copies of CS:GO usually have a regional limit and will be required to be updated on steam, only if the version on that disk is older than the latter.
CSGO's folder is placed here by default: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common with a folder named "Counter - Strike Global Offensive"

Depending on how old your copy of CS: GO is.. the updates might be as huge as 1GB+
