Look man I'll put it in one word:
The Best Security Solution for Windows is ({ ESET SMART SECURITY 5 })
I tried Avira, Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, NortonSh!t, ZoneAlarm, Bit Defender..etc "Can't remember the rest, and they all sucked especially when it comes to integration with the System, and all of there Firewalls SUCK!!!!

____>>>:::: ESET SMARTSECURITY ::::<<<____

is The best, and I'm saying that from personal experience Big Grin
Buy it, it's worth it.

Ummm....If it works fine then why does it give you BSOD? and i really don't think that it deleted Vital Windows files. sry

but anyhow i use Ad-aware free its never gave me any problems and as caught all my viruses. PLus i use Advanced System Care Free from iobit as well, both keep my computer running nice.

Windows Security Essentials.
Windows Firewall.
Firewall in my router (DD-WRT).
Spybot (for registry cleaning).
Not downloading dodgy things from the internet (be clever).

Those are the things that I use. It's worked out okay so far, especially the last one. Viruses don't just magically appear on your computer. Most of the time they're hidden in things you download, or downloaded onto your system from dodgy websites that you use. Rarely is it the case that someone directly sends you a virus.
If you read this, you suck.

my buddies mom used Windows Security Essentials but it wasnt able to find the virus that wiped out there programs list on the start menu. Ad-ware found the Virus, and once it found the virus then Windows Security Essentials popped up wiht the virus as well, maybe i just dont understand how Windows Security Essentials. works.

The key there is that it was someones mother. She was probably downloading hardcore HD midget amputee porn from ilovedownloadingviruses.com, and got a virus that way.

It's more you just have to use your common sense. No point buying anything by ESET btw, NOD32 is a complete joke. Kaspersky interferes with so many programs it makes me throw up.
If you read this, you suck.
