Good news for non-steam users! setti realeased the v.69 patch for download (tested and working for aviara too)

ok naive tested and its working here is what he did:

Patch v46(Cumulative) (1.0.0.69) -> http://www.mediafire.com/?y2iijvxjhe2q3p9 (2011-12-20)

Ok, there is a variety of steps I took to make this work and I am unsure of exactly which fixed it. First I extracted the patch to a brand new folder. Then I went into the folder and copied everything from the extracted patch, and pasted it overtop my existing setti v68 installation. It seems like some files did not get properly extracted by the self extractor. Then I ran the steam.reg file and let it modify my registry. Then I ran place_shortcut_on_desktop.exe again. Now it works, and I am in war-lords.net servers.

I just tested this patch and it did not work for me out of the box, it seems to only show my client at v68 still.

But i was teh one to to da posting of the link lol. Anyway guys, your servers are patched for nonsteamers to play. Could someone PM me the download link for the patch for nonsteam server? It would be much appreciated as I'm trying to help friends of mine, who are creating their own community. Thanks

This patch also works for Aviara version as well. Thanks to the Setti team =]

All nonsteam patch usually work with other version of nonsteam. I used aviara patch and bruss.org patch before with setti patch. Their revemu is virtually the same and only some files like background are different.
