bad fps stutters
#1
so just tried playing css office again first time in a few weeks and i get bad fps drops to like 50-60 when my fps usually stays around 120-180. These fps drops happen like every 20-30s and its really annoying. verifying game cache right now

this happened to me too..only happens while playing on the 24/7 office server.. usually more than 200 fps and suddenly drops to 30 fps..i had to quit the game and start it back to fix the problem..

Isolate to if it is css specifically: does it do this in other games? If only css, reinstall CS:S while hardwired. If issue persists, let's also set default our nvidia driver settings. If that still occurs, reinstall wireless drivers.

Still fucking up?
After all of this, lets go hardware. Reseat gpu.
Check thermal paste under cpu
.. if it still persists, you most likely have a card going bad.

i just got my gfx card like a week before...doesn't happen while playing any other game..doesn't even happen in other css servers...had this sudden fps drop 2 times only in cs office 24/7 map US...

Today , everything was fine..

yeah I fixed this stuttering problem. I think it was because of having html enabled O.o

I previously had this issue: My fps wasn't effected, but my screen was. My screen skipped every 3 seconds without fail.. consistently. I did all of this troubleshooting, and I even tweaked my monitors resolution and refresh rate. Nothing helped it. Where I live, I had HORRIBLE DNS ISSUES so I figured this could be the cause. To fix my graphics problem, I had tried EVERYTHING from flushing dns, adding a manual dns, restarting router, doing an sfc scan, chckdsk, changing all driver settings and in-game settings appropriately. Blah blah blah, the solution was my router. It took a few resets, but it finally cleared up BOTH issues. :\

It can be the smallest things...
