I suspect it could be a physical problem.
1) Try using the on board GPU (motherboard) and see if the problem still persist (to see whether or not it is the GPU).
2) If you have more than one RAM stick try remove the rest and run the computer with only one stick. Rinse repeat and see if it is one of the sticks that is giving you the problem
3) If it is your HD it is a little trickier, and I would recommend having a friend bring his HD in to try it on your computer, or if you have a secondary HD, install Windows on that one, and remove your primary one.
If it is a motherboard issue troubleshooting the above with all of them still giving you the error it might be the motherboard/cpu. But again, it sucks when it is a hardware issue
The same problem you are having I had with my HD, so I would start with that if you can. Even externals can boot Windows if you make sure your boot options is set correctly!
