My tip.  Download program called PowerStrip

Create a new color profile and change your monitor gamma to good brightness.  Over the years, source has become darker and darker with different lighting but they haven't allowed you to change mat_monitorgamma past 1.6.  This helps fix that problem.

I don't really know what to put, but my advice is to watch how the people who average 3+ kds on the server play.
You'll learn a lot from strategies and tactics.
As for aiming, that's something you have to improve yourself through playing.

Don't spec me, I have a 3 something kdr but i just run around spraying wildly.  It will not help you at all.
