Hello, and welcome to the community. High ping doesn't mean people are lagging, but admins kick people of they are skipping everywhere. WL has a ping limit to 1000 so, that's why people from around the world come and play. Maybe it's their only server that the can play, who knows? The more ping limit the more population it will be.
