FPS dips on CS:GO...
#1
so i'm trying to play on my step dad's laptop which has 2.4 ghz quad core processor and 6gb ram and intel integrated graphics (which i set to performance in control panel). When i play CS:GO on default resolution (pretty high resolution) i get 50-60 fps with dips to 10 fps which last like 5-10 seconds and are soooo damned annoying. I made resolution lowest and now I get 130fps with dips to 20-30 fps for same amount of time. Anybody know how to fix these annoying as fuck dips ? killing my game. might be the BIOS changing up and down the processor clock speed depending on core temperatures, but god damn its pissing me off

Your problem I am afraid. Very unreliable, unless you are playing 3D chess or backgammon!
