After removing the garbage that was "exclusive" to Vista that hogged RAM, I'm actually seeing better performance than stock Windows 7.

I'm serious! I installed it because I believed it was just that Vista was so far ahead of its time, it was believed to be this monster. I was right. Fuck, you had PCs with 256MB of RAM with Vista preinstalled, and thought it was the OS to blame. Nope. Vista needs at least 1GB to perform optimally, just like 7.
