This statistical representation is less serious, stats were made with what could make people look better into mind (to a point), so do not take these to the letter Tongue

I noticed that using OVERALL stats was maybe unfair for some players, that used to be very good a long time ago, but more or less playing atm. Players who started to play on (wL) a very long time ago tended also to be under valued since their first stats were atrocious or well below their current average (https://war-lords.net/pugs/players/2856197). Also there was times where a lot of better players were around at the same time, meaning that 17 rws on x month might be of way better value then 18-19 rws currently where a minority of the top50 are still active.

So i decided to make this leaderboard to showcase what were top players best months Tongue

, to compare it to the OVERALL stats of said players.

In conclusion, the best months representation clearly shows that there is a link between better individual performance and having a better W-T-L record, only exceptions being those i couldnt showcase multiple months or players that started too recently to have a real historic on the matter. Also as shown in this representation KPG still holds an interesting role, since it shows that even with higher stats, systematic leavers, tends to rq about at the same rate (just compare their KPG to similar RWS/ADR players with the highest KPG to see it). And lastly, many players have interesting behavior changes to explain why they performed a lot better in these months, some stopped trolling, some started awping more, some were trying hard, some stopped rquing a lot, some since they played a lot more had more consistency, others started to play less pugs so didnt have the "gambler mentality" (Oh im bad now, but i can do better next pug, x 10) and some need to rq a lot to achieve high numbers.

Dont discourage from it, use the fact that you are kinda far from it to your advantage, check what some good players making the list are doing and experiment what they are doing in pugs to see what works the best for you.

Most "top players" dont have the luxury to do that anymore, since the pugs are rws balanced they have indirectly less freedom to experiment new playstyles then other players. Thats why you would rarely see them change their habits except if doing a bet or something ("Bison : Ben- no ballz, not game to do ump45 only for a week").

Just a few general tips (might not apply to you, but still) :

#1 Use the Awp more (how to use it and in which circumstances is also important)

= It will dramaticly bump your KDR and ACC% (just check top awpers list https://war-lords.net/forum/thread-17335-page-2.html)

#2 Use/Buy "x" type of guns when you should

Examples :

-buying alone when your team is saving (Rarely working except if you are a good/dominant player)

-buying an awp when you are not good with said awp, getting killed, and making your team lose because of said awp.

-being the only 1 buying AK on 2nd/3rd round, getting killed, and making your team lose because of said ak

-buying smgs outside of the p90 on round 3 and + (with armors, pistols are as efficient, or superior in the case of the deagle/dualies)

-buying dualies round 1, getting killed, and making your team lose because of said dualies (picked up by a ct with armor)

#3 What guns are you using that you shouldnt ? (In general)

- only 1 player in the entire top50 had an unusual gun in his 3 most used overall, and it was 250 with p228 as 2nd most used weapon, he is the exception not the rule. So check if you are using that type of guns on a large scale.
- like in general the top normal gun used are awp, ak47, m4a1, deagle ..... the niche weapons that should be used from time to time are usp, glock, p90, dualies, famas, galil, mp5, p228 ..... the rest is mostly for trolling purposes.
- if you use some niche weapons more then normal guns (except the m4a1 it can be replaced by the famas/p90 effectively), we got a problem, and same if you use troll guns a lot Tongue

#4 Adaptability (Being good with 1 weapon isnt enough)

- Players who center their playstyle around 1 or 2 guns aren't very well represented in the top (https://war-lords.net/forum/thread-17335-page-2.html) if you go check the top for weapons, nobody is using any type of guns more then 30% of the time in the top10 of each gun category (awp, ak, m4, oth pistols, niche weapons) except for the deagle, because it is the most cost-efficient weapon of the game.

- In other words, being decent with 4-5 guns is better then being good with 1 or 2 .... and being good with 4-5 guns is better then being awesome with 1 or 2.

#5 What bad habits you have you need to correct ?

- that you can only correct by reviewing your own demo's.
