When it comes to coding you'd have to ask to bison.
If you want general information of what is RWS (Round Wins Share) =
Its basicly total damage per round you win + bombs/defuse / total amount of rounds = RWS
Rws per round you win looks like the following
100 damage is 20 rws (0,20 rws per single adr)
200 damage is 40 rws
300 damage is 60 rws
400 damage is 80 rws
500 damage is 100 rws
Bombs are worth 30 rws so instead of 100 rws to be potentially divided it is 70 if bomb explodes (before last enemy dies) or if its defused
In other words
500 damage is 70 rws (+ bomb = 100)
400 damage is 56 rws (+ bomb = 86)
300 damage is 42 rws (+ bomb = 72)
200 damage is 28 rws
100 damage is 14 rws (0,14 rws per single adr)
Or you could also make bombs an additionnal RWS and not overcomplicate your calcs like so :
500 is still 100 (+bomb = 130)
400 is still 80 (+ bomb = 110)
300 is still 60 (+ bomb = 90)
200 is still 40 (+ bomb = 70)
100 is still 20 (+bomb = 50)
Obviously if you lose the round its 0 even if you aced and even you if you defused the bomb in time but game bugged (because you died at the same time), etc.
ESEA rws considers ALL round of your team, even those you didn't play, so leavers would get heavily hammered statisticly speaking.
Here on (wL) we only consider the rounds you actually played, meaning leavers aren't negatively impacted by the fact they are leaving systematicly, and if their team do a comeback they technically get the win too ...
Not saying any of these two are better, just saying there is a distinction !
You can easily check any pug round per round to see how RWS works by checking RWS compared to ADR (and considering bomb).
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80770 as an example, just click the red or blue dots on the respective # of round.
its better to pick games where there is no ot, ot rounds specific stats aren't shown (eg :
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80766).
Detailed example of this pug (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728)
Round 1 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=1)
Blue team won
I got 300 adr = 60 rws
Ralhp got 145 = 29 rws
san got 55 = 11 rws
Everyone else get 0
Round 2 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=2)
Blue team won
I got 341 adr = 68.20 rws
Up got 97 = 19.40 rws
San got 62 = 12.40 rws
Everyone else get 0
Round 3 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=3)
Blue team won
Ralph got 364 adr = 72.80 rws
I got 136 = 27.20 rws
Everyone else got 0
Round 4 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=4)
Blue team won
295 damage = 59.60 rws
83 = 16.77 rws
65 = 13.13 rws
52 = 10.51 rws
Round 5 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=5)
Red team won
Fay got 203 adr = 40.60 rws
alive got 195 = 39.40 rws
stabbin got 100 = 20 rws
Rin planted bomb = 30 rws
Round 6
Blue team won (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=6)
San did 200 = 40.40
I did 100 = 20.20
Up did 100 = 20.20
Ralph did 95 = 19.19
Someone t side saved = not 500 damage which influences the rws.
Round 7 (
https://war-lords.net/pugs/80728?rounds=7)
Blue team won
i did 307 + bomb = 72.98
lysergic did 193 = 27.02
Everyone else 0
Ill stop at round 7 cause it shows up pretty much all possible scenarios, it even showed a possible bug or problem because on round 7 when ct's won they only got a total of 100 rws despite a defuse, but the terrorists got a total of 130 on round 5 with a player doing 0 damage receiving exactly 30 rws while other players rws weren't negatively influenced (unlike for the ct's).
Which in theory means that as of right now (its certainly a bug), its a lot easier to stack RWS planting bombs on t side then on CT side defusing em (and worse it negatively impacts your teamates rws if you steal em their defuse and you did nothing that round LOL).
Ill check with bison if he can fix this or if its done on purpose (because no1 wanna carry bomb or plant on t side for obvious reasons).
