I know that not everyone plays for the points, but what about a double xp weekend/week to attempt to attract more players?
Put it in the MOTD so everyone knows it is coming

Well, not sure if it's possible to do without spending much time on codes, but if it is possible, we need to make one weekday for this, because we're overpopulated on weekends anyway. Or maybe one hour, lets say from 3am to 4am LA time.

maybe Double xp every saturday for an hour from like 10am-11am and next saturday from 1pm-2pm, next 3pm-4pm ....

Yeah that'd be a bit of code, but then again just a suggestion.
