Has any of you encountered it before? I just experienced one not too long ago. Started feeling awake but immobilized and heard voices around the room even though i was the only one at the time.

Yeah I get that every once in a blue moon. It's like I wont be able to move but I'm awake.

I get real scared, it happened twice so far. It feels like I'm dying.

this type of demons usually floating in the bar and casino.

LOL. It's just a neurological thing actually. Smile

It happened to me a couple of times, maybe 7 times. I haven't had it for about 2 , 3 years though I think. It usually happened when I had very irregular sleep patterns.
No voices or anything with me, I just couldn't move. First time it happened was pretty scary , I didn't know what was going on ("oh my god, I'm paralyzed", lol). After I learned what it was, I just waited a bit until I could move again.

I noticed it doesn't occur when i sleep facing the sides, only when I'm facing upwards.

Neurological or not, hearing random voices just wants me out of that state asap.

I have regular sleeping hours due to work.

Haha yeah, it's something pretty scary.
Just focus on the fact that it's just your body fucking up when it happens. Smile

If you've had it only once, it's probably not serious. If you keep having it a lot, you should get it checked out. More people than you think have encountered it, it's just not well researched.

I'm pretty sure there's a paralyzing chemical which is released by the brain during sleep, and it's for some reason still being released even though you're conscious. It's never happened to me though.
