I subbed up as a spec and started eating dinner while waiting around. Steam App was closed on my phone, so then I was unaware the of notifications of being subbed in.

I used my 1 month unban for the same thing already. Sub in, walk away, don't get notifications from chat bots, because Steam App not open in background on iPhone.

They need a 10th right now, and I can't even join. Le sigh.

I discovered in the Steam App, the settings are crap by default. I changed the setting, so now I will receive all chat notifications no matter if the app has been recently used.

Yeah, I have had the Steam app for ages, and it wasn’t until war lords that I realized how shitty the default notifications were.
